Exploring Queer Histories: LGBTQIA+ Materials and Archives

ArtCenter Library and Archives & Special Collections invite you to celebrate Pride virtually!

On Thursday, June 17th at 7:00 PM, please join us as we host a virtual talk with Curator, Dr. Lexi Johnson, from USC’s ONE Archives where we will explore LGBTQIA+ artist materials and histories. The ONE Archive is located in Downtown Los Angeles, and houses the largest archive of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer materials in the world. Learn more about this amazing local resource, including how to access the archive when things return to normal.

Curious about the mural outside of our Library? Robert Dirig, Director, Archives & Special Collections, will talk about the history of the mural and present some materials in our collection related to the powerful work by Keith Haring.

This event is co-sponsored by ArtCenter's Center for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
