Beginning Saturday, January 13, 2024, the ArtCenter Library will be open for regular in-person services at the Hillside Campus, Fogg Library. Our service for picking up and dropping off library materials will also remain available for the Spring Term.
Monday – Thursday, 10am – 9pm
Friday - Saturday, 10am – 5pm
Archives and Special Collections will be open at South Campus, Monday – Friday, 9am – 4pm.
In-Person Services
• Enrolled students, faculty, and staff may visit and work in the Library and check out materials.
• Alumni are also allowed to visit the Library and must follow alumni campus access protocols.
Checkouts
• Enrolled students, faculty, and staff are allowed to request up to 10 items at a time (ACX—3 max), including: books, magazines, zines, DVDs, and/or video games.
• Alumni are allowed to request up to 2 items at a time, including books, magazines, and zines.
Holds and Pickup Services
• All materials must be requested through our catalog the day before for next-day pickup after 12pm at the earliest. We do not accept requests for materials through email. See a pickup request tutorial.
• The library will notify you when your items are ready for pickup. There are no same-day pickups.
• The location for pickups at the Hillside Campus is inside the Fogg Library. The location for pickups at the South Campus is in the lobby of the 1111 Building.
• Pickups will be available Monday – Saturday after 12pm. (If you have trouble getting to campus to pick up your item(s), let us know, and we can work with you.)
• The Library will hold items one week for patrons to pickup.
Returns
• Return items via the South Campus book drop in the 950 Parking Lot or via the Fogg Library book drop at the Hillside Campus.
• The Library does not charge overdue fines for ArtCenter students, faculty, and staff if items are returned. Alumni patrons will be charged overdue fines.
Research Help
• The ArtCenter Library continues to provide expert assistance to support teaching, learning, and research. Connect with a Research Librarian.
For faculty who need online materials for their electronic course reserves, please fill out the "Course Reserve Request" form. If we do not have what you are looking for in our catalog, you can fill out the “Request a Purchase” form.
