The ArtCenter Library celebrates the recognition of one of our most valuable and respected department members in the 2023 ArtCenter Staff Excellence Awards. Jennifer Faist, Director of Collections & Systems in the Library, received the runner-up award.

This year, Jennifer chaired the staff committee for In Focus: Artwork by ArtCenter Staff. "Students, faculty and the public may not know that many ArtCenter staff members are also artists and designers," she said. "In Focus shines a spotlight on staff creativity, giving a glimpse at another side of staff as they juggle work, life and artistic pursuits."

Others involved in the exhibition credited Jennifer with the event's success, saying, "her exceptional leadership and commitment to fostering a sense of community and creativity among the ArtCenter staff made the exhibition possible."

In her role as Director of Collections and Systems at the Library, Jennifer oversees the people and processes working with print and electronic resources. Her solutions-focused technical expertise with an empathetic approach to the needs of students, faculty and staff has contributed immensely to the structure and evolution of library services for years.
