The Library is excited to bring you a new and powerful online resource this summer: OverDrive.

One of the world's leading industry eBook platforms, OverDrive offers curated collections designed around your research needs, both in and out of the classroom. Our team of liaison librarians have worked to develop customized content focused on DEI, design, comics, the science and politics of fine art, and more.

This will be a continually growing and evolving platform, with new titles added on a regular basis. If you'd like to suggest a title, please fill out a simple form here, or contact your liaison librarian.

OverDrive comes with its own mobile app: Libby. A leading standard for academic and public libraries, it's easily downloadable from all major services, and is accessed the same way as OverDrive. Read eBooks on your phone, tablet, or computer using Libby's host of helpful features, including the ability to instantly place holds, save reading/viewing progress, and more. You can add your other library cards to Libby as well, checking out e-content simultaneously from the Pasadena Public Library, Glendale Public Library, LA County Public Library, or LAPL. With OverDrive, all your checked-out materials are downloaded in full for offline use, and returns are sent back automatically on the due date.
