Virtual Library Workshop: July 15

The ArtCenter Library will be hosting Virtual Library Workshops on “How to Utilize Your Library at This Time,” every other Wednesday, July 15 through July 29 at 1pm.

Please join us for a demonstration and Q&A on the following topics:
July 15 – Print and Digital Magazines: Maria Trakovsky, Serials Coordinator
July 29 – Trend Analysis and Forecasting Online Resources: Robert Lundquist, Liaison Librarian

Upcoming July 15th Workshop: This workshop will showcase digital magazines from the Library's collection and ways to access them, as well as how to request available print magazines. The workshop will provide an overview of virtual ways to access e-magazine content, with a focus on online resources such as Lürzer's Archive, Shots, and the Vogue Archive. It will also cover several EBSCO databases, Extended Search techniques, as well as retrieving free online magazine content through print catalog records. You will learn different searching and browsing strategies to help with your research. If you are interested in print or digital magazines, this is the workshop for you!

These are informal workshops to help you learn about the resources available at the Library. No prior knowledge is necessary. Please note that the session will be recorded. Open to all students, faculty and staff. The duration of the workshop will be anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour.
