Please join us for our second Virtual Library Workshop of the term! The workshop will be a demonstration and Q & A on “Getting Informed: Antiracist and Decolonizing Design Resources at the ArtCenter Library” on Wednesday, October 7, Week 4 at 1pm. To promote dialogue at ArtCenter on Black community allyship and decolonization within design, Liaison Librarians, Tanya Knipparth & Rachel Julius will be featuring Antiracism and Decolonizing Design Resources. This workshop includes demonstrations on how to request and access books, ebooks, and streaming films on antiracism, decolonizing culture, implicit bias, Black Lives Matter children’s picture books and comics/graphic novels. In addition, we will discuss the Quaranzine Project. A discussion and Q&A will follow. We are ready to answer any questions you may have and/or listen to your concerns regarding current affairs.

These are informal workshops to help you learn about the resources available at the Library. No prior knowledge is necessary. Please note that the demonstration will be recorded; the Q & A will not. Open to all students, faculty and staff. The duration of the workshop will be anywhere from 30 minutes to one hour.
