Disability Pride Month

The ArtCenter Library proudly celebrates Disability Pride Month this July! First established in 1990, the same year the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) was signed into law, Disability Pride Month honors the strength, creativity, and contributions of the disability community.

It is a time to celebrate identity, challenge stigma, and advocate for equity. As designers, artists, and innovators, we have the power to reimagine spaces, products, and experiences that are truly inclusive and accessible to all. Thoughtful design can help break down barriers, challenge bias, and improve everyday life for people with disabilities.
