The Virtual ArtCenter Library Is Open

As you head into your second week of online classes, please know that the ArtCenter Library staff is here to help you. Now more than ever, the library is essential in helping you make use of the vast array of information resources that are out there. Our number one goal is to help you succeed in your classes. While we are unable to provide access to the library space and to our physical collections, please visit our Online Resources, for access to ebooks, eArticles and streaming media. These are available to you 24/7.

Another place to look for information is the Library’s online catalog, DotSEARCH. Click on “Extended” and type in your keywords in the search box at the top of our website. To look at content that is completely available online, make sure you limit your search to “Full Text.” If you need a book from our regular collection that is not available elsewhere, please let us know, and we will try to find an ebook version of it for you. As a last resort, the Library can provide pickup service for library materials that cannot be found elsewhere.

We also have Research Guides containing valuable curated information, including links to our online resources and a direct link to a helpful liaison librarian. Please consult the guide associated with the class you are taking. If you have any questions, need help using DotSEARCH, want to request an ebook, or have a suggestion, please do not hesitate to send us an email at library@artcenter.edu.
